If you are building a stand alone unit or building it inside the case of the kobo then you will need a GPS module aswell, either use the one you are already using with the Kobo or any that work with the Kobo.

We recommend adding a larger battery for the kobo then it will run for 25 hours plus with no external power, this is much more practial and doesnt put any strain on the USB port in the Kobo powering it externally

You will also need roughly a metre of wire, any 28AWG wire or similar will do, plus a small length of thin rope to make a lanyard for your box.

We can also provide the entire lot as a kit if you wish, please contact us.

Please quickly read the NOTES page which appears at the end of the building stages, this will give you a few hints what to watch out for while building.
